Rooted in its beginnings as a family-owned furniture business, C&E Furniture + Design has evolved into an award-winning furniture store and full-service interior design studio serving the Delaware and Maryland coast and beyond.
Delaware native Katie Winnington, Creative Director and Principal Designer of C&E, began shaping the next chapter of her family’s business in 2012, bringing together a lifelong connection to the coast with a passion for thoughtful, functional design. Her approach is grounded in the belief that beautiful homes should be as considered as they are comfortable—layering natural materials, timeless furnishings, and a refined point of view to create interiors that feel personal, collected, and made for the way people truly live.
Today Katie, along with her design team, leads C&E with the same appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and enduring design that has defined the family business from the beginning, while continuing to evolve its distinctly Coastal + Elevated perspective.

Outside the studio, Katie is happiest spending time with her family—whether at home by the beach or traveling with her husband and children in search of new places and adventures. She draws inspiration from the places, landscapes, and experiences discovered along the way. Katie lives in Bethany Beach, Delaware, with her husband, two children, and a much-loved, rarely well-behaved corgi.
